FOOT CARE
At
the end of a tiring day, the best thing you can
do is put your feet up, preferably by lying down
with your feet higher than your heart, making
sure that the whole leg is well supported.
This
greatly assists the circulation - including that
of the lymphatic system - and relieves swelling
and the feeling of heaviness in the legs.
Very
gently massaging towards the heart, using either
the fingertips or a relaxed hand, will increase
the beneficial effect of raising the legs. |
