RECIPES FOR YOUR HAIR
DEEP
CONDITIONER FOR BEAUTIFUL HAIR
1 small jar of real mayonnaise
1/2 of an avocado
Put ingredients together in a medium bowl and squish
together with your hands until it’s a minty green
color. Smooth into hair all the way to the tips. Put
on a shower cap or wrap your head with saran wrap.
Leave on for 20 minutes.
For deeper conditioning put a hot, damp towel around
your head over the shower cap or saran wrap. If you
have really long hair and only need conditioning at
the ends, cut the ingredients in half and apply only
to the ends and just wrap them.

DRY BRITTLE HAIR
TREATMENT
1/2 Cup mayonnaise
Shampoo - few drops
Luke warm water
For conditioning dry, brittle hair, mix mayo with shampoo. Add enough lukewarm water to mix.
Apply to hair after a regular shampoo. Leave on for 10 minutes then shampoo out.

HOT
OIL HAIR TREATMENT
1
application
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 Tablespoon honey
combine oil and honey in a small plastic sandwich bag.
Fill a coffee cup with water and heat until almost boiling (approx 1 minute in microwave)
dip bag in hot water until oil mixture is warm
Apply warm oil to dry hair, working from scalp to tips
Cover your head with a shower cap and leave on for 15 minutes
Wash hair as usual.
NOTE: While hair is conditioning, hop in shower or bath. The warmer the oil stays, the better it works.

DRY SHAMPOO
1/2 cup
cornstarch.
Sprinkle the cornstarch in your hair. Let it
absorb for a few minutes. Brush it out.
This
is wonderful to freshen-up your hair in a pinch
between shampoos... or great to take on camping
trips when fresh water is unavailable for using a
liquid shampoo. You can also add a couple drops of
fragrance oil to the cornstarch for a nice scented
dry shampoo.

HAIR MOUSSE
Dissolve 1/4
teaspoon plain gelatin in 1 cup boiling water
Let sit at room
temperature until slightly set. Rub into wet or dry hair, and blow dry.

GOLDY LOCKS HIGHLIGHTS
1 cup
fresh squeezed lemon juice
3 cups chamomile tea, brewed and cooled
Shampoo and condition hair, towel dry. Then apply mixture of lemon juice
and chamomile tea. Sit out in the sun for an our to dry or stay indoors
and blow dry your for for a subtler sun-kissed effect. Shampoo and
condition hair again to rinse out juice residue and take care of tangles caused
by the acidity of the lemons.
Repeat once a week for a month to
noticeably pump up the highlights. Gently brings out natural highlights
and adds tons of texture to blonde and brunette tresses.
